why cloth?
here are some reasons to consider cloth:
REUSE. an excellent part of any good eco-friendly habit. you will be keeping thousands of disposable diapers out of landfills (which will take thousands of years to decompose). your stash of cloth diapers will last long enough for a second or third child.
NATURAL and RECYCLED FIBERS. by using natural fibers you’ll reduce skin irration while increasing breathability. additionally natural fibers are typically sustainable materials. we also use recycled polyester fleece because we are committed to the three R’s of reduce, reuse and recycle.
SAVE MONEY: although the upfront costs for cloth diapers may seem high, in the long term you will be saving money. using disposable diapers for one child for approximately two and half years will cost you more than $2,000 (or more. now that the cost of oil is on the increase.) some argue that laundering costs off-set the savings of cloth diapers. that is simply not true.
COLORFUL: nothing brightens up the typical diaper change like variety. cloth diapers offer so many more choices in color, pattern and texture than a typical disposable diaper.
